What is the Puffco Cupsy
Cupsy is a new design by the masterminds at Puffco, who are responsible for changing the entire cannabis tech scene with their Puffco Peak e-Rig. However, if you’ve been following us for a while, there’s a good chance you remember us talking about some of their other miscellaneous devices and designs, like the Puffco Budsy.
Puffco Cupsy
Budsy is sick, I still use mine. I can’t for the life of me figure out why they discontinued it. The only thing that really comes to mind is that it worked too well and people were getting in trouble for using them. But I digress.
Cupsy is the same concept as Budsy — the bong disguised as a water bottle. The key difference is that Cupsy is a bong disguised as a to-go cup. It’s so normal looking and unassuming that you can take it pretty much anywhere and nobody ever looks twice at it. Whether you want to bring the green to coffee shops or anywhere else you go, Cupsy is the perfect travel companion and comes in clutch every time.
The design features a high-performance bubbler system and a ceramic bowl that nestles down inside the lid for storage and discretion. More importantly, Cupsy’s design is made from heavy-duty stainless steel, so it’s stable against drops and makes for supremely easy cleaning after a day of use.
What’s to like about it
Honestly, this thing is next level. It might come off as a little gimmicky, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t do its job. In fact, it does it well. I stashed Cupsy in my backpack when I went to an outdoor music festival this year. Since it looked like a simple, empty cup security didn’t look twice at it and I was able to enjoy bong rips with my friends the entire night without anyone noticing.

Not that you should ever do that, by the way. It’s always a risk to smoke weed in public, and I definitely don’t condone you taking the thing out and about and catching a charge with it. Y’know, be smart.
Its simple design is easy to use, too. All you have to do is dump a little water into it and stuff some weed into the bowl. Then you just hit it with a lighter and sip from the cup. Since it doesn’t have any moving or electric parts, its no-fuss design is easy to take places without worrying about breaking it.
Puffco Cupsy
Cupsy fits comfortably in a backpack or a pocket if you’re still rocking those deep pocketed 90s jeans. More importantly, it actually works. Cupsy might be simple, but its stainless steel design is easy to keep clean, and it rips well. I love that you can stash a pre-packed bowl in the lid, and that hitting it looks like you’re just being super careful to not burn yourself on hot coffee when you’re hitting it.
Overall, for sixty bucks you get the freedom to take a bong into airports, up mountain tops, and into music festivals. So you really can’t beat it. More importantly, even if security snags it — its only $60. Easy to use, easy to love, and easy to replace if push comes to shove. It comes highly recommended, so get out there and enjoy it.
